Mae doesn’t need to be needed. She’s into making sure people can do their own thing when they look in the mirror. “I want women to feel empowered to go home and do their makeup tomorrow … without me!” she says. Makeup has been a lifetime passion for Mae. As a child, she was fascinated by Clinique’s department store consultants in their lab coats – “they looked smart and beautiful.” But she also loves the commitment-free aspect of beauty products. “It washes off, so have fun and try new things.”
